Lucas chapter 1 page 7

At around seven thirty-two I fell asleep again. - I had no clue why I was
sleeping so much. Then it clicked. It was the end of the month and I usually
PMS in the begining of every month. I was due to get my " period " in three
days. I hated that time of the month. I always have mood swings, I over eat,
and I'm tired all of the time. I know one way to make a period leave faster : drink
a lot of water, but considering that this house doesn't get purified water, I'm
not drinking the water until it's purified. I know how to purify water, but it takes
so long. - When I woke up it was three forty-nine in the morning. I couldn't
sleep and everyone else was already in bed. I went downstairs in the living
room and turned on the TV. I watched Roseane until five thirty. Then I finaly fell
back to sleep. When I woke up again it was one o' nine. I got up and stretched. My vision
was blured at first, and I could hear a dog barking. My vision turned back to
normal and I looked in the direction that I heard the dog. There was a cute dog
sitting next to my bed. I was so confused, why was there a dog sitting in my
bedroom? I got a throw blanket out of the tote under my bed and set it down on
the floor. The dog went over to it, sniffed it and layed down. I didn't know if the
dog was rabid or not, it didn't foam from the mouth, but it was a little too friendly
for a stray. I went downstairs, my mom was in the kitchen and my dad was getting ready for
work. I went over to the table and said to my mom," Um, mom, there's a dog in my
room?" She just smiled and said," That's nice." " Yeah, where'd you get it?" My dad said. " I don't know why its there." I gave them both the " Are you really that dumb?"
look. " HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" They yelled in unison. I don't know how but I completly forgot that today was my birthday. " Oh my gosh!
I can't believe this! I forgot my own birthday!" I laughed. My mom and dad started to
laugh too. I could hear Tyler laughing too. " I can't believe you guys got me a dog!
I love dogs! -" I started to cough hard and rapidly, flem slid out of my throat and I bent
over the trash can. I couldn't stop coughing. My head got really stuffy and I got dizzy. " Woah, are you okay?" Tyler said. " Inhailer!" I tried to say through my endless cough. My mom handed him my
inhailer and he gave it to me. I took two puffs and my lungs were working properly again.
That was the first asthma attack I had in years. I didn't know why I had an asthma attack,
because I only had them when I got the flu. " Oh, great, I'm getting the flu!"My hormones
took over and I got mad at everyone in the room for absolutly no reason, but I knew how to
control my hormones, so I walked away I stomped upstairs, then, halfway up the
mansion, I realized I didn't know where I was going. I stopped stomping and walked
up the stairs regularly. The further up I got I could hear music. I looked in every
room trying to find the room with the sound comming out. Almost at the top of
the mansion, I found the room. I peeked in the room. It looked like someone had
just been in the room a few seconds before. A Micheal Jackson song was playing. I looked around the room for the source of the
music. I saw a lot of electronics, but I couldn't see where the music was coming from. I
wondered who had been here before me. " Kaylah! Come on we're leaving!" " Wait..... Can I stay home!?" " Sure, but Tyler's coming with us!" " Okay, but I still wanna stay home." I yelled downstairs to my mom. This room was
a little suspicious, I wanted more time to check it out. " Okay, Bye!" My mom yelled up to me. " Love you, bye." I yelled back down to her.

I flicked off all of the lights downstairs and started to walk up the stairs. I still hadn't picked out a permanent bedroom, so I decided to do that. I walked up two flights of stairs before I found the perfect room. It was big, with four windows, a huge closet, and a built-in spherical chair. I had never seen a room with a spherical chair stuck in the wall, but it was pretty cool. I pressed play on the dvd player, and watched the rest of the movie. I didn't really like the movie, the ending was sad and disturbing At the end the father kills

everyone in the car, even his son. That to me is just messed up. I turned off the TV and put the bowl of popcorn in the kitchen. I had barely eaten any of it because I was so into the movie. I screamed a few times during the movie, it wasn't a complete horror film, but it was pretty scary.

another sound. It came from downstairs this time. I was fighting with myself, trying to decide wether or not to go down. I had no clue what could be down there.I faced my fears and took step down the stairs. I bit my lip, knowing I would regret it. I walked down another flight of stairs, stopped for a few seconds, and then walked down the other two. When I got back downstairs there wasn't anything there. I figured that I was just hearing things. I went back over to the couch and sat down.

" Love you, bye." I yelled back down to her. I checked my watch and it said that it was nine o' clock. I put in a movie about an hour before. I'd never seen it before, but it was called "The Mist". I was only half way through the movie and I heard a loud noise come from upstairs. I set my popcorn down next to the couch. I tried to follow the sound. If it was coming from the room that I found earlier I would be totally freaked out. I walked up three flights of stairs, and then I heard
