  • Pure propaganda, the hospitals for none cubans is great and the service for cubans its worse then in africa or haiti, what about Dr Molina, who has been hostage of the dictador,if the assassins castros have some humanity they should respect all of the human right they violate.

  • it may be propaganda but the humanitarian nature of the results cannot be denied, i know that healthcare for cubans is not so good, but not like haiti or africa (lets get real), and history will show that respect for human rights in cuba has always been better than many developing nations, especially those "helped" by the U.S. worldwide.

  • are all this doctors going to work for 300 pesos =$15 US dollars a month ? as cuban doctors do ?

  • you should know that some of these graduates go to their home countries to work most without any support from their govt, with none of the advantages of cuban citizens, and some with much more repression and danger than there ever was in cuba, they are youth who would never get the chance to study medicine in their own countries, and this includes the usa.

  • Cuba has NO respect for HUMAN RIGHTS. That is why this is PROPAGANDA. Look up "LAS DAMAS DE BLANCO" those are Cuban women who protest for human rights in Cuba and get beat up by REGIME THUGS. Yes G2 plain cloths regime agents (men) who beat up women.. The protests in Cuba have cause 2000 to be jailed in only 3 weeks. Medical students repeating VIVA FIDEL, what a joke, what BS.

  • I would like to get information about ELAM. I'vd been tryng to find it online but have not been able to. I'm a US citizen very fluent in spanish, and would like to study in Cuba.If anyone knows how to enroll or any info. please let me know. thnx.

  • Cagòn!!!!! y tù ganas de saber lo que es calidad humana y buena medicina CUBANA!!!sigue soñando que podràs estudiar en Harvard me imagino que es tu sueño frustrado........

  • i wanna go to this school...but im worried about finding residency opportunities upon return to the US just because its not always easy for FMGs

  • tu tienes toda la razon!

  • I definitely agree that it's great that Cuba does facilitate studies for those who would normally not have access to study.

On the other hand, you don't need an authoritarian government to make this possible. I would respect Cuba's social projects much more, if the country did not have an iron grip against dissent.

The resources offered to these students especially bother me, when Cuba makes the absurd claim that the credit blockade is causing shortages.

  • ola agreguenme o alguien me pudiera dar mas imformacion sobre la elam quisiera ingresar
