HURT CHAPTER 17

SARA'S POV
I smiled texting Kevin about a second date. He was a total sweet heart and this time we'll go alone. I mean I love Liz and Joe to death but they we're all lovey dovey and that was kind of awkward. Actually it was really awkward when they just started making out. "Let's go I'm starving!" Liz said walking towards me scrolling through her phone. "I was waiting on you." I said laughing. She rolled her eyes and we started walking down the stairs. We had just reached the bottom step when I saw Carolina sitting on the bar laughing and downing a shot of patron. "Seriously? It's not even three and she's already getting wasted?" I said shaking my head. "the hell she is." Liz said crossing the room to bar and taking the drink out of her hand. "Hey!" she said shouted reached out for the cup. "No! no more!" Liz shouted like a mom. "Give it back." She pouted and I rolled my eyes. "Damian what number is this?" I asked and he looked at the empty glasses around the room and the bar. "Like 8?" he said looking up at Carolina for confirmation. She nodded and looked back at Liz. "Liz give it back seriously." She said half slurred. "Carolina your five year old niece is going to come back soon with Olga and you're getting wasted are you insane?" Liz hissed and she rolled her eyes. "You are so boring." She said laying her hand on the bar. "Damian pass number nine please." She said smiling at him. "No don't." I said. "Excuse me?" she asked loudly. "Carolina no more come on you're coming with us." I said and she shook her head. "No I'm staying here with my baby." She said hugging Damian. "She's more drunk than I thought." Liz said shaking her head. "So what do we do?" I asked looking at my friend. "We have to take her with us if she has anymore she'll end up with alcohol poisoning." Liz said. "We have to take her with us." I said. She nodded and put her handbag on the bar stool. "Come on help me get her down." She said and I put my purse down. "Don't touch me!" she said swatting our hands away. She rolled her eyes and kicked her legs over until they were dangling over the side of the bar. "I can get down myself." She said pushing off the bar. "See I'm not that drunk just a little buzzed." She said grabbing her purse. "Buzzed you just said Damian was your baby." I said and she shrugged. "Fine I'm a little drunk but hey it was bound to happen." She said about to take a step but fumbling with her sky scraper heels and falling flat on her face. "Shit!" she said and I bit back a laugh. Carolina looked up at me and sighed. "well that hurt." She said taking Liz's hand and standing up. "Do you want flats or something?" I asked looking down at the six inch heels she was wearing. "Nah I'm good." She said taking a step and fumbling but managing to stay up. "Would you like to explain now or at lunch?" I asked looking at her. She looked at me her usually piercing eyes were softened either by the alcohol or whatever was bugging her. It's probably both I just don't know which one has the upper hand. "It's a long story." She said. "We've got a long time." Liz said looping her arm around Carolina's. She shook her head her long brown hair sliding on her shoulders and sighed a long sigh. "You two are horrible." She said. "You know you love us." I said smiling up at her. She scowled at me and shook her head. "You are such pain in my ass." She said grumbled and I rolled my eyes. "yeah yeah shut the fuck up and keep walking." Liz said pulling her faster.
