So, are you blaming the fermemter, the can of malt extract, the spoon? What part of the kit is stopping your beer from working, when really, you can brew beer or wine in just about any container covered with saran wrap, and it will work. So, pour the shit out and try one of your other cans you have there. My neighbor bought the same kit and he just finished drinking his last beer. Calm yourself and try again. Don't put words in my mouth.

First of all buddy, don't you dare put words in my mouth. I NEVER said that my Cooper's fermenter had a leak. I mearly stated that I have had that happen and I offered you a solution. I also didn't say that broken bottles was "expected". I said "...but those Cooper's Micro Brew kits are shipped from AU to Calgary, I believe, and then to the Canadian customer. It's no wonder a few bottles got damaged along the way." Get your facts strait b4 you go on a huge flippent rant. More next...

Get over yourself.
I bought a Coopers DIY Beer kit and the hydrometer, spoon and bottling tube were missing. You know what I did about it? I contacted them and they sent me the missing parts, and then I made some pretty good beer.
In fact, I thought the coopers kit was so good I bought another one when it was on special.
Don't blame products or ther people for your own short comings and neuroses.

Also pretty sure that craig does make this product he just likes it. Like fuck your stupid if you buy something broken take it back! If your fridge didn't work when you bought it would you go on youtube and blame someone who likes it? I think you would likely go back to the store you bought it from.

Cant get over how stupid you are. I'm sorry that the entire world is out to get you.

This guy is such an assclown.... thumbs down

You dont trust coopers.
So you dont trust a BREWERY on how to make beer rather than a plastic bucket made in china?
-
If it was broken then why didn't you take some pictures and send it into Coopers and get a free kit?
-
Coopers is great i have been brewing their products for 17yrs without a problem, its the brewer not the brew.

You said it all, "Dont listen to people on the internet".
Now fuck off

You're... blaming the beer for the green apple taste? What the fuck. It's called acetaldehyde, and it's caused by stress yeast, underpitching, or just not letting the yeast finish up their job in the fermenter. If your tasting from the fermenter then of COURSE it's going to taste like acetaldehyde...

Thank you very much for this video. I was actually going to purchase the coopers kit today because of Craigtube's videos. Now I will go down to the local brew shop and pay a little extra for a better kit.
Would you still recommend the coopers beer mix though? As a beginner I don't want to spend money on grain and hops and have my first batch come out bad.

Yes definatly get the Cooper's beer mix. The best IMO so far has been the Draught. Keep in mind, when buying these beer kits to LOOK UNDER THE CAN FOR THE EXPIRATION DATE. =)
If it's 4-5 months to expiration, then the yeast could be too old and fermentation might be very slow and not run smoothly.
I recommend a classic bucket kit WITHOUT the carboid. Just the bucket and tools. Fill directly into 1L Ez Cap bottles. The glass bottles hold way more fizz. The plastic bottled beer has little head.

I highly, highly recommend the 1L Ez Cap bottles.
The bucket and accessories should cost you $30 or so. The 1L Ez Cap bottles should cost $60 for 24 (that will cover an entire brew). I have compared directly back to back with plastic on the same brew and there is no comparison. The glass hold the carbonation and the plastic ones holds little. Glass you are getting a great head, plastic much less. The 1L EZ cap's also less maintenance and there so few to deal with. Huge difference trust me!
