  • Basically the advice is to spend more money. I'm not a hater, I'm only a girl on a budget.

I've been subscribed to you for a while, I like your videos. It's just so very patronising when you tell me that I should buy cashmere and silk because they are "such better quality" (which I'm not doubting is true) whilst I'm sitting, watching you in my acrylic H&M cardigan. Silk and cashmere are not "must haves" to me, but you are obviously priviledged, so good luck to you.

  • @Cat8395 I completely understand your situation. You don't have to pay lots for good quality fabrics, there's always thrifting and checking out consignment stores! Those places tend to be even cheaper than low end stores. My point is, that your staple pieces are meant to last you a long time & from my experience better quality fabrics have helped. If you check my hauls I shop at low end stores pretty often!

  • Love your videos:-) you're really pretty and fun to watch, you deserve lots more viewers!!!!!

  • @SimplySimbi Thank you! That really means a lot to me (:

  • @MonicaAimeLaMode Good luck on getting more subscribers, and carry on with what you're doing. I will of course continue to watch your videos, because as I said, they're good. Maybe some people may think I'm hating, but I only wanted to hear a different point of view, as your style is very different to mine. Catherine, from France x

  • @Cat8395 Well then go with what you know. All of what is said in the video & what I said to you are my opinions and based on my own experiences. Continue with whatever you find is best for you...

  • @MonicaAimeLaMode I don't know of a thrift shop in my area. I don't live in a anglosaxon country and they aren't as popular where I live. I agree, it is good to invest in the things you wear constantly (my Levis, which I bought when I was only 12 and they broke only this January (I'm turning 17 this year). I guess your priorities are different to mine, some items in my opinion shouldn't cost me over $10 (basic tank tops are one of them, flip flops are another).

  • @hanny96kitty My dentist says May this year but they could come off earlier or later depending. & thank you for watching (:

  • @stylegrl5 A tutorial really isn't necessary for the way that I do it. I have a naturally wavy texture to my hair so all that I do is curl my hair with a 1" curling iron by wrapping random sections of hair around the barrel!

  • @luminesenceify thank you!
