John, you have no idea just how much your honesty and bravery has impacted the world around you. I have a gay teenage cousin who has just emerged from a very dark and frightening place. Thanks to your example I was able to show him that life is, indeed, worth living and that there are possibilities and alternatives. THANK YOU!

I think that the chapter I found most touching, was chapter 9, where he talks about Midge. Anyone with me? I'm really sorry she's gone. She sounded like a great person. One of my fave chapters was the last one where he talks about his experiences in Torchwood. ^^ Love you John!!xxxx
