My brother worked there when it was Six Gun Territory, back in the early '70s. We moved south in '74. I was sad to hear they tore it down and built a mall in its place.

philadelphia's FAIRYLAND ? FROM WILLOW TO PINE, SPRUCE ,CHERRY WALNUT, CHESTNUT ,LOCUST, lombard ..I guess the nuts or fruits don't fall far from the trees !

Grew up 1/4 mile from here. I can say I did attend the park..but I was only one in 1973 (can't recall it) Just remember it as closed fenced off area, lot of trees in the late 70s. I went to the bowling alley with my mom and dad every Sat. - before the mall and recall vividly one of the gazebos, old stone bridge next to the restaurant. Little did I know back then what an amazing place this was. Such a simple and an amazing time back then. It's hard to imagine this existed. Thanks for the upload!
