MW2 was a very good game at that time, but earthsiege had a much, much better campaign with higher replayability and a more reasonable plot (don't tell me you bought the honor speech from MW).

This was out in EARLY 1994, a long time before mechwarrior 2. For the time it was the best big mech game on offer though it was more action orientated unlike the simulation-like MW2. Still, Earthsiege had a lot of atmosphere which the sequel lacked. What was the point in Earthsiege 2, an SVGA version of the original, when MW2 had blown everything away? :D

Earthsiege stood it's own ground against mechwarrior. It is a fantastic game, and feels like a simulator.
