POPPY ROCKS OUT up close. He really does love to talk, sing and whistle all day and is not afraid of cameras or getting videotaped-

We are not sure if Poppy is a girl or a boy- what do you think?

Poppy is a pet starling that was almost thrown in the trash can when he was found after he fell out of his nest at the airport.
A flight attendant saved Poppy and took him home to be rehabbed.
Poppy is now 5 years old and loves to rock out every day. He has learned to talk many words, to come when he is called and to cause havoc and mayhem at home. He likes to fly all over house, even up the stairs and to sneak and steal treats from unsuspecting dinner plates. He is very clean and likes to take baths in the sink every day. His favorite treats are crickets, worms and cheese. He will eat the occasional spider.

Thanks! He likes to whistle Mozart, too- when he was a young chick, he really listened to my voice- like a little, feathered tape recorder!
