@jimdivax real or not it is a very moving version. In fact I listen to the sister act version often...it moves my spirit. I am a musican. I love music. I'd be willing to venture that Beethoven...as a musican would have liked sister act's version. Who said music that worships God has to be boring. Your attitude suggests you're the kind of person who would have been angry with Jesus because he healed on the wrong day!? lighten up..or maybe ask God to enlighten you!

@coventrygardens Wrong. The church existed before 393 AD when the books of the Catholic Bible were declared canon at the Council of Hippo. In the beginning they weren't a church but a sect of Judaism until Gentiles were allowed in. I can tell you more in a private message.

@SexyFulNes This man is sing 'Joyful,Joyful' in a style closer to that imagined by its composer Beethoven. You probably imagine the hyped up 'Sister Act' version is the 'real song'!!!! Sorry! Get an education!!!!!

I've been through about a dozen of your songs so far. I don't know which is more engaging--your voice or your off-beat sense of humour. Please keep 'em coming!!

about 5 years ago, i switched from baptist to Catholic. i left the baptists when i saw that the Christian Church had to exist ever since the Apostolic era. no protestant or baptist or restorationist sect has been around that long. also, many protestants and baptists and restorationists claim that the Bible is the only source for Christian teaching. yet the Bible cannot be the only source for Christian teaching. one should focus on the fact that Christianity existed before the Bible existed.

You are correct that the worship of the One True God existed before the Bible was available. However, it is the final authority for my faith. I am not Catholic - because I have several problems with their practices and beliefs (historically and today).
But as long as we put our Faith and Trust in the completed work of Jesus Christ - birth, death, and ressurection - I know we will rejoice forever with Him in Heaven.

Iam Catholic as well but I truly believe in transcending denomination and I would like to ask you a question not because I dont know the answer but I wanted to test you if thats ok. Besides Holy Scripture what are the other sources of Christian teachung? Thanks!

I'm hoping this is a trick question!
1. Nature: "For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:" Rom 1:20
2. Holy Spirit.
However, any other source of Christian Teaching would need to be held to the criteria and tested of The Word of God. Paul warns of false teachers and that we must test the Spirits. I John 4:1
