One of the world's most popular operas, Tosca boasts an action-packed story, larger than life characters, and some of Puccini's most beautiful music, including the showstopper aria "Vissi d'arte." Famed opera diva Floria Tosca wants revolutionary painter Cavaradossi's sole romantic attention. Menacing chief of police Scarpia wants Tosca at any cost. The resulting clash between all-consuming passion, unbridled lust, and political dissent makes for a gut-wrenching rollercoaster ride, with plenty of great opportunities for all three principal singers to show off their artistry and individuality.
@liriango That is not Angela Brown. This is Lisa Daltirus.

OK... Poretta and Daltrius haven't made anyone forget Corelli and Callas but Greer Grimsley is an absolute FORCE of nature. I saw him in Detroit as Scarpia and his massive voice made the rest of the cast sound like they were in junior high by comparison. You're hearingt the real deal here on the Te Deum.. His gigantic voice soars right over the chorus.

Very disappointing! This is completely out of her league. Did anyone coach this?

Tenor needs to learn how to sing and soprano is unremarkable and her singing is so effortful and throaty unfortunately.
