Were there any industrial Slant-6 engines?

The engine ought to be fine as it's at it's last rebuild due to being .060 bored over. The thing runs good and the Clifford EFI kit will be operational soon. As we both know, this is a forgiving engine, as it was over-built to begin with back in the late 1950s. The block was zeroed and the cylinder head had new exhaust seats put in. The way I do maintenance, the D150 will last but the engine will outlast the '83 RAM. Thanks for the tip.

@slant6guy You should of zero decked the block and only taken .80 off the head for extended head life.

Rebuilt a 1983 hydraulic version of this engine w/ my brother's help in a RAM D150. Did it .060 over and milled the head by ninety, not one-hundred, to raise the compression. Put in a Clifford 264H cam and double roller timing chain. Throttle body EFI & headers on hold due to very possible move to the Lower48 and a self-induced accident last Nov. '09. Ran great, even though it needs fine tuning still.

These engines are amazingly durable for only having 4 main bearings. Most 4 main bearing six's are junkers but not the Slant 6.
