@eloiperez: Check out the Kleen Kanteen Reflect which just came out recently. The only thing close to plastic on that thing is a thin, removable food-grade silion ring at the base of the bottle cap.

@bubbly929292: Just checked the lifefactory website. According to the FAQ, the caps are made of polypropylene, a thermoplastic polymer. Wikipedia lists a few health concerns related to this material.
