Tired of tasting metal just to steer clear of BPA plastics? This new glass water bottle is non-toxic, eco-conscious, virtually unbreakable and just plain fun to look at with a modern silicone cover that's easy to grip. The silicone sleeve also protects the bottle from breakage. See for yourself in this video as we drop a glass bottle from waist height onto rock hard steps - without a crack! • @eloiperez: Check out the Kleen Kanteen Reflect which just came out recently. The only thing close to plastic on that thing is a thin, removable food-grade silion ring at the base of the bottle cap.

  • @eloiperez: Frustrating, isn't it? The only ones I could find that don't are the old-school hip flasks.

  • @zalmoxe: What water bottles don't have a plastic cap? Even stainless steel water bottles have a plastic cap!

  • @bubbly929292: Just checked the lifefactory website. According to the FAQ, the caps are made of polypropylene, a thermoplastic polymer. Wikipedia lists a few health concerns related to this material.

  • what is the cap made of?
