Solo Meleeing Sara Boss w/ Divine Spirit Shield and New Prayers -Hollowgraves

Commander Zilyana solo with melee/ Divine Spirit Shield.

Another one down. One left to go.

Out of Bandos and Zamorak, I'd say Zilyana was probably the most fun to solo. Managed two kills with Whip and Divine. I could had probably done a third but was pretty low on food. commander boss

Q. Why was Zilyana and Growler taking damage every so often?
A. It's a recoil from the Deflection Mage curse. It recoils small damage back at the attacker.

Q. What does the Divine Spirit Shield do?
A. It's really easy; try not to over-think it. All damage that you receive is reduced by 30%. Half of that 30% is also reduced from your prayer.

For example, let's say your opponent will hit a 30. When the attack is dealt, instead of getting hit a 30, you'll be hit a 21. 30% of 30 is 9 so 30- 9= 21. Now we need to take half of that 9 and reduce that from prayer. So 10/ 2= 4.5. (Reduced down) So your prayer will drain by 4 points. That's all the divine does. Reduces damage. :) Hope that helps.

___Mistakes____

I pretty much caught what I was doing wrong on the 2nd and last kill; I wasn't avoiding her. In the first kill I just sat there and took all her hits. This depleted my inventory pretty quickly. On the 2nd kill I was so low that I was forced to run after each hit in hopes that it would reduce the damage I was taking. Smart move because it did. I should had done that from the beginning.

@andy7sla Oh yeah for sure. I've been working on my herblore and spent aroudn 100M. I hit 91 yesterday.

I'm going to redo all my solo's with Overloads, Pack Yak, Turmoil, and ofcourse the Divine. I'm actually pretty excited to see the results.

@djitobig kid it doesnt matter what other people did he was using super sets your other vids probably had overloads, your other vids probably had a yak he has a tort and its all luck what you hit in this game just cause you have a certain shield doesnt mean you have to hit just like everyone else does

Saradomin boss is desighned to be a crazy melée boss who can kill a lv 100 and below in 13 hits how did u survive by attacking her head on I can't even do tht I have to do tht run and range method ur great
