Extreme Home Makeover - 1 year later. Terri and Chuck Cerda's two daughters, Molly and Maggie, were diagnosed with Combined Immune Deficiency Disease (CIDD) at the age of three, and were living in a home that threatened their lives. Hundreds of Nevadans offered free labor to the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition team, and built them a brand-new home from the ground up at 5760 Royal Castle Lane in northwest Las Vegas. It appears selling the home is paramount to the children's health.

  • The man who now owns this. House is a very wealthy Swedish furniture desighner. Most of the furniture that is now in the house is his such as the couches. They didn't show it in this photo but the couches have a book case builtin at the back of them. This house is very gorgeous and I only wish I had another time to go inside and touch and see and take photos of everything once more. Its a beautiful house and even to this day I can not belive I had the amazing experience to go inside this house..

  • I've had the amzing expierience of having a tour of this wonderful house. It is beautiful in person. Me and my brother Joshua went inside. The man who takes care of the house while the owner is away asked us if we would like to see it after he heard us admiring and talking about it one day in summer. It is gorgeous and I will never forget that day. Everytime I pass by that house I remeber the remarkable experience I had of going inside there. I am only 12 :) I will cherish that moment forever...

  • I actually have immune deficiency and danced on Dancing with the Stars in may. They did not need to make this disease so dramatic...yea it's a pain in the butt but they don't need to have a hospital in their house...

  • I used to live directly down the street from them, and they were nothing but mean, selfish assholes. The mother, Teri, actually followed me, and my friend when we were driving around in his go-kart, for 20 minutes. She was insane. Her kids, I actually saw them, on several occasions playing outside, running around and having a great time. It's a damn shame that these low-lifes got this kind of dream house, but luckily they were kicked out and they lost it all, that's what you get when you lie.

  • Six doctors testified that Molly, 10, and Maggie, 8, did not live in constant medical peril, as Terri Cerda claimed.

Valvano went further. The Cerda children, he told the judge, were victims of medical child abuse.

  • this is sad.. hurts people that are really sick and need help. I suffer from Lupus and fibromyligia and these people should get the book thrown at them.

  • @Timasu thats nice of u to post an article but as i said: the parents were never charged

  • Steal a candy bar and go to jail......steal a house and watch how fast the authorities turn their backs.

  • that's so sad! "hundreds of nevadans offered free labor" THEY SHOULD GET THE HOUSE. haha they gave the address, time to egg someone house....
