Here's a video of a r/c model of a Northrop N9MB, it is 1/6th scale with a 120 wing span, weights 25 lbs, it has elevons-flaps-trimmers-yaw rudders-retracts and wing slots, powered by AXI 4120-18 motors with A-123 cells (7S4P) swinging 13x8 hand carved scale props at 7500 rpm. This is an amazing model built by Dean Copeland, true to scale and will probably be at TopGun this year. Don't miss it!

  • This plane was scratch built by Dean Copeland. He flew it in Top Gun last year and did well in static, but his landing was a little tough. He still has it in his shop....a piece of art!

  • It's a scale model. NOT a toy!

  • i wander if theres plans for this

  • RC <--- That should be in the title of this video. This is a remote control TOY. It is not the real thing. Big difference.
