PS-3400 encapsulate and solidify hydrocarbons. They do not simply disburse or emulsify, but solidify petroleum for easy removal from water, land, ice, and snow or from filtration systems and equipment. PS-3400 is primarily for water-born spills.

  • We were in the gulf, or in a warehouse near the gulf. The parishes wanted to use our products but the federal government had there own ideas. Our product would solidify the waste, the problem was the man power to pick up the solidified waste, but when picked up it can be burned as a fuel and fuel source. The government believed that dispersants would work better in working in the gulf.

  • but i see, you need a lot of the chemical you are using. This may be very promising for oil spills and all but, again, we have the huge "environmental factor" of concern, which must paid serious attention

  • @sunilanandatheertha

It is used at 1 gallon to one pound of product. After the waste is solidified it can be picked up and used as a heat source, keeping its BTU (british thermal unit) value or burn as hot as it was as a liquid. A craddle to grave product - not leaving any environmental footprint.

  • but if this is as good as it appears u could make so much mass producing it for environmental organizations and agencies for good chemical cleanup to substances it works on.

we hope to do that soon ....

  • ironically i asked this 2 years ago, i wonder how the gulf spill wouldve been if they used tons of this stuff instead of those toxic dispersants.

  • its nice, but i am worried about the environmental effects.

  • nice product, but what about any chemicals this substance adds to the scene and if so, how can they be thoroughly and conveniently removed?
