Downloaded the mp3 track from Amazon, been listening to it all day. The song and the movie are classics. All about life, love, and the preciousness of the human spirit. Alex North and Stanley Kubrick are true artistic geniuses.

I was watching The Big Valley episode, "The Days Of Wrath". The main figure of the love theme in that episode is borrowed or at least inspired from this. The episode is posted in its entirety on Youtube. Check it out and you''ll see what I mean.
