  • @raul1986cbl I am not too sure if that law has ever been enforced.

  • A Guyanese accent has a long drawl. I often wonder if I am sometimes unfairly judged by my accent (very similar to President Jagdeo's). I have lived in the US for 20 years, and have never taken a course to fix this; however, I know of many people from Africa and India, who do once they are working in the US and seeks to achieve their dreams (and I admire them for this). That said, I (and Mr. Jagdeo) can put a sentence together much better than the folks commenting here can..

  • Dude like for real would u ever shut up with ur nonsense an actually do something to better guyana instead of fulling ur pocket with the poor people tax money

  • The president speaks like he is having problem shitting....

  • Guyana is the only South American country that criminalizes male homosexual relations (with penalties from two years' imprisonment and life imprisonment) The Society Against Sexual Orientation Discrimination (SASOD) has urged the government to repeal the discriminatory colonial-era law. I wish the President Bharrat Jagdeo promotes the abolition of the law at guyanese Parliament and create a new law that protects the rights of sexual minorities in Guyana.

  • English is the official language of Guyana. Pres Jagdeo is Guyanese but his bloodline is from India.

  • ...it's not that he's "incompetent" or a "waste," it's that your level of understanding is not as high or your attention span is not long. He is mono-tone though, but not a big deal.

  • lol you guys need to fuck off.
