Boss fight with the Giant Skeleton. Acsia Glyph is wonderful here for racking up the damage and keeping your distance if you want that medal. The trick to this guy is that he'll back away from you if you hold up while using the Magnes Glyph, so do that to make him back off, then go forward and attack him, leading him back and repeating the process. Even without doing this he's not particularly hard to dodge since you have three magnets you can use to jump over him.

After the fight I go back to the Monastery, filling in that secret room, and trying to get the cube glyph, but no such luck with Acsia. I'm gonna wait until I get the scythe Glyph, as that was how I got it the first time when I tried the Japanese version.

  • Bleh. I'm a part later in the game where these two of these suckers in one room and no magnets >_>

Looking forward to seeing you you just decided to run past them or what :3

  • It is admittedly easier to just double jump past them, but you can take them out with Ignis pretty fast.

  • Why didn't I got the skeleton medal?

I beat it. And the other bosses, too, but

    I didn't got a medal??

  • You didn't beat it without taking damage.

  • how do you get the chest behind the little kitty in the monastery?

  • You have to slide to it, then press up when you get near it.

  • Watch the video.

  • The first time I killed this boss I stared at it for two minutes before I moved on. There was no way in Hell I was leaving until I was sure it was really dead.

  • This is one of the very few parts of the game that I would dare to call unfair, mostly because to beat this guy you have to figure out that when you hold up on one of those magnet things he will back off. ALWAYS. And once you let go he will come forward. If you know this, then defeating him is simple. But actually learning this in the first place is just something that is not obvious in the least.

Oh well. Pretty much every other part of the game is fair in terms of difficulty.

  • SO THAT'S HOW YOU BEAT THIS FUCKING BASTARD

    GOD DAMMIT

THIS GUY PISSED ME OFF SO BAD BECAUSE I COULDNT THINK OF HOW TO BEAT HIM XD

  • What's the name of the music of this boss battle?

  • Love how you used the union move to kill the boss, very cinematic. Did you do that on purpose?

Shanoa's getting her food from chests....not too clean but better than some heroes!

  • fuuuuuuuuuuuck, how you get that chest????, i tried a lot of time with all of weapons and that not appear

  • I beat this boss with ascia and secare. It was a bitch. I would smack him until he would get me to the first magnet (one you used) and then I'd hop to the third to get him back to the other side and shoot back to the first and repeated.

  • i hated this boss until i figured out to use the HAMMER

  • in the forest

  • I did this boss battle the hard way using up both my heart repairs with the macir glyph.

  • This game is so hard...but that's why i love it! :)
