you know you don't have to get a B3-- i've been finding M3's and L111's and similar organs on C-list for under 500. M3 is a good one, b'kuz it's got the presets and drawbars, its very similar to a B3 (but a bit smaller!) in fact, the M3 i prefer more than B3-- a B3 is a bit too much for me at this point (i play a C3-- identical to a B-- in church). just a rule of thumb if u r looking for a good hammond-- look for models before 1975, tone-wheel types, and drawbars. ive a couple under 300.

@TheNorthernSoulKing I have seen them for around 3 grand, for a B3, sometimes a bit less but not much.
Too bad your not closer to me in California, I have a Hammond M from 1964 I would like to get rid of, it was my mothers, she bought it new, cost her 2 grand in 1964. They were not cheap even then

@TheNorthernSoulKing Try looking for an A100. It's the same as a B3 or C3 but they're usually easier to find, cheaper, and in better condition. It just has build-in speakers so it's heavier, but it's actually more compact than a B3. All the same sound and features.

Hello you are a great organist. I was wondering where would I be able to find a Hammond organ B3 for sale? Would I be able to find any under a 1,000 or a 1,000? I live in Ohio and also what would I look up to see if they sell Hammonds in my state?

@TheNorthernSoulKing Not for 1.000:-,maybe 5-10.000 in the USA.We are in Sweden,and they cost a lot more here!
