Nice! I've always wanted to try procedurally generating a cityscape myself with Python/Maya scripting in mind. There's so much to consider... structure models (with height/architectural variation), shaders, traffic generation... I love automation. :)

good modelling. The roads look a bit unsafe though! :-)

The traffic in the sky is a great idea. The geometry reminds me of the Factor 5 Star Wars Games. Fancy!

I have the sections I modelled by hand as Maya Ascii files on my hard drive. I also have the mel script. I did this in 2006 when there wasn't a city builder available. I was inspired by city building scripts written for King Kong.
I rendered the shots with ambient occlusion and comped it in shake.

what programs do you use because i want to start to make 3D models and dont have a clue where to do it, is Modo any good for architecture

Hi there dude, I made this like two years ago using Maya and MEL script. The reason I used MEL was so that I could generate tons of random architecture without having to do it all by hand. Otherwise it would've taken me weeks! I've heard lots of good things about XSI for modelling. Then ofcourse there's mudbox and Zbrush for your sculpting/textures. If you're after something free take a look at Blender - it has some surprisingly good modelling tools. Hope that helps :D
