Hallicrafters S-120 Radio

This is a Hallicrafters S-120.
I got this radio from a buddy, who had is sitting inside his garage for a good little bit. It still works but the power filter cap needs to be replaced.
Aside from that the radio still gives pretty good sound.
all the parts are original in this radio except the dial lamps.

I haven't fixed it yet,

But I think any old radio is worth fixing. The Reception on this radio isn't bad. Its hard to tell exactly how good it is, considering the buzz though.

I have another old Radio. an AM/FM Supersonic, that I had intended to upload and show, but it blew up before I could do that lol! (turned out to be a capacitor)

Have you fixed the power cap yet, and how do you like the perfomance with the repair? I know this simple variation of the All American five (tube) is not a big performer, but I am wondering if it is worth the effort to recap?
