and sat in a box 4 square distanced from the viewer by a twenty yard stare imagining lines and visions that aren't there a welders rod arcing spatter flashing dimming perception of the world beyond the definition of a work space the hallowed place a shrine and a shroud worn in stasis surrounded remote from the moot crowd a cloister quiet the soul chaffing against the restraining bit a vision rises in wood and steel growing on a rocky shore shingle
clatter




waves surge senses soar amidst the aural roar brine intrusion and the spatial illusion of the iconic pyre a soul departed standing alone the solipsist smiles
