Viva Pontos! Viva children of HELLAS! Pontoi dancing looks like the body controls electricity! It is amazing, and I can barely shake my hips to tekno music HA HA! I wish I was half gifted to dance like that, but maybe its because I am only half Greek :)

Εγώ δεν σου μειώνω (βαθμολόγηση). Ως λυριντζής, κεμεντζετζης ώφειλες να γνωρίζεις ότι υπάρχουν πολλές παραλλαγές-φιγούρες στον πυρρίχιο χορό. Αυτή η Σέρρα πολύ κοντά στην αυθεντική. Σήμερα πολύ προσθέτουν την δική τους χορογραφία κι έτσι καταστρέφουν τους αφθεντικούς χορούς.
Προφανώς είδα τα παιδια αυτά να χορεύουν στην Αναγέννηση Σερρών.

Ο ρυθμός αγαπητέ είναι φερμένος τελευταία απο Τουρκία......αυτό δε σημαίνει πως είναι πιο κοντά στην αυθαιντική. Ποιος είναι αυτός που θα πει στους ανθρώπους της πρώτης γενιάς (όσοι ζουν) πως αυτός είναι ο ρυθμός πιο κοντά στη Σέρρα...

I am talking about reallity, truth and wisdom things "they" aware to give you in school. This is a dance to honour LIFE (ZEIN-ZEUS) beacuse to survive you must fight and some times in wars.
This is the spirit of Gods and "ΤΑΝ ή ΕΠΙ ΤΑΣ". SERRA is aν exstatic dance to prepare for war. The result will be either you die and yourwife is a "Χήρά" from where you have "SERRA" or PYRRHΙCHIOS "in the spirit of fire" beacuse by fighting in a war your life is in the middle of "fire".

Thank you HELLAS for the gift of such a Global Heritage. This is one of the most ancient dances. O CHORON PYRRHICHIOS aka SERRA from Pontos. Dansed for first time by the Idaean Dactyles to save Zeus from Cronos. The leader of Idaean Dactyles, Heracles arranged also the fist Olympic Games in OLYMPIA to honour Zeus (life) the Father of Gods and Human Beings.
