@ravenbluesparrow I just wanted to add, even if you have insurance you WILL pay a copay, meaning that even if you have expensive insurance you still have to pay to see the doctor. And then they might not cover all of your expenses, depending on what kind of insurance you have they might not cover for treatment at all leaving you help less and trying to sell you house or take out a mortgage. Families can pay $10,000-$15,000/year and can't afford it and still might be denied coverage.

@ronan32 I'm an American, as soon as I left America for a few years and did take a look around I started to realize how Americans are incredibly brainwashed by the government, media, corporate elites etc, brainwashed and used like cattle for their own benefit.. from kindergarten to high school, I now laugh at them right with you and hope to move out of this crap country soon to a better one

The best system in the world is all system put together in one place. we think this is good we take it. it it is bad, we ignore it. Being Flexible in any system is much better than to fight to the death to defend it.

He is my favorite man.

Socialising your medical care does not!! mean your socialising the country, your police is free, your library's are free, your post is free ..... why not health care, your economics can be run using the profit motive but your health is not something to risk being priced out of imo.
I am a New Zealander and I wouldn't change for your system free healthcare is a right in our country and makes our workforce more productive there should be no profit motive in regards to healthcare

I watched Sicko a while back now and i have to say from that and everything else i have heard about the US health care(less) system, i feel happy to live in the UK i dont like the idea of people who really need health care being left out or forced out because they would have to sell everything they own to get treatment, thats not right at all, its nothing more than pure evil greed, and when i seen the old couple in Sicko i actually felt really sorry for them, i wouldnt want that in my old age
