Of course it is, belief systems like yours teach you to thrive in the face of adversity and actually feel stronger for it, it's very very clever really.

That doesn't change the fact however, that you're urging your beliefs on children not old enough to be intellectually capable of judging the truth for themselves. If you're right about god, just leave the kids alone till they're 18, he won't mind, let them believe because they want to not because it was urged on them at an early age.
