There's something people should know about this kind of a setup using an ATV, the front wheels don't stay on the ground very well. This would work OK on flat ground but if you come to any kinda hill, steering is going to be a problem unless you lower the front of the log back to the ground.
Notice an ATV hitch, the mounting bracket is lower than the center line of the axle. That way you're not lifting the front wheels. If anything you're putting neutral or just a tad of down force on the front.
