One of Bach's best works. There's a couple of rough spots and my wife agreed but she said she liked the "spirit" and told me to "post it!"

Awesome. Wish I could do 1/8th as well. And from memory. Great spirit! This is incredibly difficult on bass! Well done!

You are clearly an admirer of the works Bach wrote for the violin and the inspiration helped you overcome many difficulties. There are however many sonatas that were written for unspecified bass instruments that can be played with more success. The gap between the violin and bass is much bigger than between the bass, cello, bass gamba and violone. Why not try the collection of Rococo sonatas that we already recorded? I am sure you will have fun and it will be fun to listen to as well.
