Song: The Steward of Gondor
Movie: Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King
Composer: Howard Shore
Features Pippin's Song!

So this is one of the songs that I actually play the most, and when I have my iPod and I'm listening to LOTR, I always put this one on repeat. For one thing, Billy Boyd has an amazing singing voice (Okay, so there's no singing in this version, but I just felt like mentioning it! The tune is pretty!) For some reason, this song always makes me cry. Maybe it's because it's at the part where Faramir is going off to sacrifice himself for his pig of a father....*tear*....Although, the music in itself portrays its own story. Enjoy!

The Last Son

You must understand.
He does the duty of two sons now,
For himself; and for the One
Who will not return.

  • not a fan of this music normally, but with a film like Lord of the Rings...you have to :) great job as well :D

  • This confused me so much when I first started playing it. It felt like I was playing a different time signature for each hand o_O It's all good now though :)

    Good job by the way.

  • ice cold i real like it man that was nice

  • great job! I love LOTR!!

  • awsome!!!

  • Yeah, I guess he's corrupted. Maybe I wouldn't say mean, but his affections are geared more towards Boromir. I know he loves Faramir, but he doesn't do a good job at showing it. Ha, ha, it's been awhile since I've read the books. All I remember is the long elaborate passage explaining Faramir's cloak! :)
