@bwhugul I like the Valenta engine and turbo combined but I think I prefer the sound of the engine to the turbo. It makes an awesome bus noise just before the turbo kicks in and screams. I love those burly bus noises that huge V12 and V16 diesel engines make when they wind up. It sounds wicked.

It's probably a cold engine, with dodgy injectors that aren't feeding properly. Either that or it's just an air/fuel mixture that isn't adjusting properly, but once it's warm it seems to cater for itself. Hellfire video btw, not enough val starts on the tube. 5* + Fave.

You should hear that person in the background shout 'f***' when it tries to start the first time!
As for hst noises, I sometimes find the turbocharger scream quite annoying - it's actually the growl I like best about the sound! And this is the ACTUAL valenta sound! The scream comes from the Napier turbochargers which are connected to but appear not to be part of the engine itself.

either they did it deliberately, or its sick. it didnt sound too good its first two goes. some more info on this one would be great!
