  • Industrial Accident??!! Please. We don't own all life!! Let's shut the owner of seaworld in a glass coffin and feed him fish for the rest of his life. It's ok, because his keeper will love him. Oh, and he won't have to worry about communicating with anyone because, oh, he's in isolation!! Oopsie

  • He was probably playing but she died because of it.. he just got a little rough but he didn't realize he would kill her if he wanted to kill her he would have bitten her head off.

    He did not do that..

  • I will post a link to this page on my blog. I am sure my visitors will find that very useful.

  • observe the species. He might become harmful in anyway.

  • And again I don't believe what seaworld has done in the past was the best thing. But they can't just end it after all. They do have a lot of orcas there and need to look after them. If you actually watch a clip here on youtube called the making of "Believe" Behind the scenes. its all about the daily routines and how the trainers treat the animals on a regular basis. And not at all to they neglect or abuse them. These trainers have a lot of compassion and heart for these orcas.

  • as Keiko was also a male. The point is the remaining whales can't be separated from their trainers because they are too attached to them. As for Tilikum we may never know what provoked him to do what he did. He may have been interested in her hair swinging, or had been to wound up and became overplayfull... who knows. putting him down is not an option. and releasing him just wouldn't work. Again Keiko is a reminder of that. The most they can do is just not be so close to him in particular.

  • Im not saying that this whole industry should have even started. But they have gone so far. and have already developed a family group within seaworld. they would never survive in the wild because of that. Tilikum however is a captured whale. and therefore exhibits that bit of wildness that he was able to develope the 2 years he was in the ocean. Keiko was also captured roughly around the same age. But was never known for any aggression so its not right to blame the fact he's a bull orca.

  • Geeze people seem to be losing their marbles on this issue. You do realize Tilikum was captured from the wild at the age of two and I believe his mother was also. He has the wild nature of him because he was wild. However the other 8 or so whales they have there are all born in captivity. They never were taken from the wild. Seaworld has stopped taking whales from the wild a long time ago. all their whales are born there. They have litteraly built an actual family group within seaworld.

  • @Flannagorn Fuck you and 15 other people nobody likes a whining little bitch.

  • FFS I don't want to see a news report about it, I want to see the actual killing. Stop wasting peoples time with rubbish like this. If I want to watch the news I'll put on the TV. Sort yourself out.

  • put it to sleep
