@rickigr - I think it would be necessary if the lace looks too dark even after you put your wigcap on. This is also to cover the knots on the lace. I don't use real bleach anymore (because it leads to shedding).

@Lrigyttiw Oh I understand it's for the lace. I worded my question wrong sorry. I mean to ask if I have dark lace and jet black hair attached to the lace should I do this? I plan on wearing a cap so is this even necessary ? Thank you so much for your input. Your videos are quite informative.

@rickigr - this is for coloring the lace, not the hair.

Is this for all hair colors would you suggest doing this for a wig that has dark lace already. I'm a wig newbie. Getting one soon trying to gather all info I can. And I'm out of the country so not as easy to find products.

Yeah he really hooks you up. Everything you post is stunning.
As for CLW, I say if the product you send me doesnt look like the picture you're using to promote the product, then you're misrepresenting. But hey, maybe they slipped up.
Im watching part 4 of your video right now.. Lol!!

I swear by Rex! Lol... I wouldn't so much say that CLW was misrepresenting... the wig just didn't look like the pictures. I've gotten other wigs from them, and they were on point.
Ok so I did this and did it all correctly...but only one problem...it has a flakey scalp. What did I do wrong and what should I do differently?

@MsBeautifullOne - sounds like you sprayed to heavily. You have to maybe spray lightly. You don't want the spray to drip, just cover.

@Aadeyi89 - I would recommend it, to protect your hair from rubbing the inside of the lace, but you don't have to. You also can make wigcaps out of pantyhose or knee highs.
