2006 Monte Carlo SS Flowmaster

Here is my 2006 Monte Carlo SS. The video shows pics of my old and then new exhaust and what it sounds like. It has a 3 inch downpipe, 3 inch piping throughout, no resonator, and flowmaster super 44s.

i got an 06 SS and was thinking about cutting out the resonator, im gonna do it now.

I noticed that the information center under the speedo looks as if it were going crazy. Wassup with that? Is that because of the exhaust or what?

@mycity313 just because the type of video camera being used, same thing happens when you video tape a tv.

sweet monte man. i have same thing black bone stock. i think i've seen it at zona rosa before but coulda been a different one i've only seen a few in the kc area.

Cool Car, Hey Notice your vid is in March and your Monte produced a fair amount of Steam, I just bought a 07 ss and it seams to steam alot more than other cars on cold days (any day below 50degs) Mine steams about as much as yours but more than others makes models of cars on average. I just had it checked out for HeadGasket Leak but results were negative. Its kinda freaky I notice that even if I drive for a long distance on a brisk day it steams. does/did yours do the same?

@falconsgolf06 I have an '04 Monte with the 3.8L V6 and Vibrant dual exhaust system. What would I need to do to get it to sound better? It already sounds similar to the V8 version (stock) when I rev, but its not as throaty as I would like.

Also, have any clue how to put in a different head unit?
