We pulled the boat out of the water for a bottom job.
They found that the prop strut was busted and breaking away from the hull.
The mechanics seem to think this may have occurred when we got a rope tied around the prop last year - or perhaps it was that time we smacked into a coral head off of Grand Bahama.
This will take about a week to remove and replace the prop strut itself and to repair all of the damaged fiberglass.
Total cost, including bottom job: about $5,000.
