Dubai Metro is the world's longest driverless automated railway system.There will be a total of 47 stations (in addition to station on the extension lines) for the Dubai Metro.The Metro is scheduled to partially open by September 2009 and be fully completed by 2012.The Red Line will have 29 stations, including 24 elevated, four underground and one at ground-level. Dubai Metro will have a total of 70 kilometres (43 mi) of lines, and 47 stations (including 9 underground stations).Two lines are under construction, and three more are planned.
