@pvguy847 gonads. serious ones.
-
Bubkas goal was a free take off (foot off the ground before the pole hits the back of the box) it only looks like he's out when really he's right on.
-
this is outrageous, he takes off from like twenty feet out!

завдяки таким як він- я гордий, що українець
-
his arm is bent but out to the left it is part of the techinique that he uses, what the arm allows him to do is to rotate back and let his chest come forward.
-
This vault looks different than some most of Bubka's other vaults I have seen. Left arm looks over bent on take off and he does not penetrate as deep. Looks like he committed to a vault that should never have happened but he is so fast he pulled it off.
-
he knows how to really utalize the swing position or penatration of the pole. His timeing is just so perfect which is why he was able to jump higher than his competitors. Not to mention his superb speed on the run way and his amazing strength.

yeah, i'm also curious as to what aspects differs from alan's and petrov's take on the vault. i coached a summer camp where alan was one of the coaches present and was just wondering.
which parts do you disagree with in the original?? i'm curious. i'm not a bill faulk man either. i prefer alan launder with the petrov modle

in the orig, he says a few things:
1. the drive swing is only forward and shoulders stay above the hips. and while he's saying that bubka is obviously driving his chest UP and his hips are in front of his chest.
2. he says pull on the left while finishing the inversion. there should NEVER be a pull on your left. *allow* it in yes, but not pull.
also, I agree with the Petrov model, but not Alan's interpretation of it. he's severely off in a few aspects (according to Petrov himself)
