The Most Unbelievable Sight I've Ever Seen: Bodies Being Cremated in Public (a Hindu ritual)

The stench of dead bodies being burned got stronger and stronger as I got closer to the river where they perform the cremation procedure (for about four hours) immediately within 24 hours after a person dies. The oldest male figure in the family gets his head shaved then he is taxed at initiating the cremation procedure.

well, doing dishes with water containing ashes doesnt sound too bad for me, what really makes me speechless is when I have seen how happily they can take showers, or do laundry just minutes after they pop all in the same place.
