  • whats better wing chun or bak mei

  • Bak Mei and Wing Chun are different systems. However, I personally felt that since they are both from southern China and have Shaolin roots, they complement each other. No system is better than another in my opinion. It all depends on how industrious and studious the practitioner of a system is when they train for combat.

  • Great demonstration chongswingchunBakMei, I have only gone as far as Sil lum tao, but even the "small thought" form has lots of hidden surprises, I trained in Australia under Sifu Fung who's trained by Si Gung Tsui shun tin. Great video, many thanks, Bow

  • Thank you! All of these applications can be found in Sil Nim Tao. The beauty of Kung Fu is the "hidden surprises" the forms contain.

    Take Care,

    Sifu Eddie

  • What my sifu taught me are quite similar to what you show and as you said, they are break downs of Chum Kiu and Biu Jee. Ironically, these techniques are not seen in general or even the famous wing chun sifu. ~.~"

  • There are many techniques that are not taught or are hidden from students and even teachers themselves. My goal is to try to reveal these techniques.

  • Sifu Eddie is the real deal. I had him at a seminar in Midland, MI 10 years ago. His explanations of things were insightful and he is also a pretty fun guy just to hang out with. Glad to see others appreciating him.

  • Sorry to ask, but I always wonder why so many people have a such hatred for Kung Fu. They say it is not effective and only good for show off. Please can you show techniques and sparring so people may see the power of Kung Fu?

  • Oh wow...real Wing Chun! Thank you so much for posting!

  • I like your clips a lot. Very simple but so profound in application.
