@azurenscens Had to have been a circle hook. You feel if the fish is there then just do what he did. I would recommend a little faster, but no need to jerk it. Just a swiping motion. IT doesnt feel right, but works more times than not.

nice one! were you using a circle hook? it looked like it by the way you set the hook. i just started using them and i'm not exactly sure how to set a circle hook on a cat.
