Let's Play the Victoria Improvement Project UK - Episode 0 (Intro)

I have a particular question regarding the VIP. I frequently play the game and was dismayed by the fact that Austria never got events to unite Germany, even if it did beat Prussia in the Austro-Prussian War. As I understand that's been changed in Victoria 2, but I haven't got the chance to play that yet, and I like sticking to the classics anyway. So do you know if the VIP has a revamped event string for Austria that will allow them to unite Germany if they beat Prussia? Thanks.

Please note though that in VIP - its quite possible that the Belgian War of Independence may be resolved with the Tallyrand partition plan...
