Just wandering, how much does a guy average to trap all winter, after expensives and taxes?

@owllman again it all comes down to how hard you want to work and how much line you run.each year is diffrent but u make enough to get buy.

A trapper friend of mine whom I go with to his trapline once in awhile made the mistake of trapping the weasel that was hanging around his cabin. Doing what was natural for a trapper... Soon after he had an infestation of mice. He no longer sets for weasel too close to the cabin.

How do you know where to set for beaver when the terrain is all frozen?

ive never trapped wolf before but i noticed you left the trap exposed did you cover it latter or you dont need to with wolves i figured they would be the hardest to trap
