yeah i think Newell paid more attention to English boarding schools, giving it that British feeling to the series for the first time, and also paying a lil more attention to teenage humor.

Lol i forgot him!...But now, HP 6 is going out and Im getting kind of sad, because HP introduce me to read, and now I dont like know much about books, so Im going to miss the series :(

yeah i agree with you, they all had their strengths, even though Yates is my favorite and the casts and author's fav. lol. Columbus was very faithful to the book, which is not a bad thing, but he sacrificed character development and expression for that. So i felt like i was watching the book. First harry does this, then he does that, and that. very mechanical. Cuaron was the FIRST to bring reality and style. And Yates actually brought the TONE of the books to the movies. what about Newell, lol.

Well I dont know, every director has put something awesome to every movie, I loved how Chris Colombus sticked to the book (maybe too much), how Cuaron (mexican like me xD) added some reality, with the clothes etc, and Yates...well Yates added some kind of emocional thing to the movies.
