Perhaps my favorite song of one of my favorite bands.

Released in the album of the same name in 1986.
I think that Guggi and Dik were already out of the band by then.
Friday left the VP in the same year.

Anyway... a magic song.

I love this. I used to have this giant poster, "THE VIRGIN PRUNES: The Moon Looked Down & Laughed" hanging on my bedroom wall in 1988. BAUHAUS, THE CURE, SAMHAIN, COCTEAU TWINS, SIOUXIE & THE BANSHEES, COIL, FOETUS, MISFITS, JOY DIVISION, LAUGHING HYENAS (they fit so damn well with this thought, don't they?! Drink a forty oz of Mickey's Ice, fire up a clove cigarette, & crack another forty oz bottle. You're in the zone cuz of the three Percocets you took. Kick back, & let the music take over!)
