S.Aishwarya, (then aged 11 years),Great Grand Daughter of Smt M.S.Subbulakshmi , accompanies her Grandmother.
Aishwarya has been learning Carnatic Music from her 4th year with her Grandmother. From her 5th to 7th year she was also trained by Sharanya Krishnan , disciple of Smt Suguna Purushottaman . She is currently under the tutelage & guidance of Karnataka Kalashree, Vidushi Jambu Kannan, since 2002.
Aishwarya has also been learning the Veena since 2005 from Vidwan A Shankar Raman , disciple of Late Rajeshwari Padmanabhan (of the illustrious Karaikudi Baani)

How apt that Shriramkumar is playing for Radha Amma and Aishwarya, when his grandfather the Late Shri. RK Venkatrama Shastri often played for MS Amma!

Mathe is my favourite Dharu. Radha Mami and Aishwarya have sung this flawlesly. Aishwarya must have the blessings of the Gods and MS Amma herself !

Radha Mami's comments right at the beginning asking for forgiveness for any mistakes she may make, as she is singing after 15 years on stage , shows her great humility and respect for Sangeetham !

A dream come true to all ammas devotees .. Mami such a genius as a performer & a teacher hasnt even deviated a bit from how she sang the same around 40 years ago .. This is a great tribute to our beloved MS amma whose music is The Supreme of all !! Great to see Aishwarya , the disciple & Grand daughter of mami accompany her on stage .. Aishwarya is blessed with a fantastic vocal range & confidence 2 sing in par with such a lengend on stage ..

It is heartening to see Radha maami back on stage after her long illness ,accompanied by the young and sprightly Aishwarya.
