1 US gallon = 3.785411784 liters
1 UK gallon = 4.54609188 liters.
You're 1.40 pounds per litter means $2.82 dollars for US. thats why were paying 355 a gallon

I do not want anyone in USA to moan about Gas prices here in UK its £1.40 a LITRE!! thats 1.40 POUNDS not dollars 1.40 ( for 2star 95 octane)

hey jackie, what happened to the evil Bush and the haliburton/cheny conspiracy to inflate the price of gas?....is Cheny working for Brobama now?...lol.high gas prices are being created by high dollar invertors.ie soros and others, to influnence the election process. Hide and wait/watch, gas will go back down two months or so before the next federal election and all praise will go to Brobama for making it happen, also they will start using more false un-emplyment numbers making him look "good"
