Film produced by Coventry Transport Museum of the classic Coventry made Alvis TE21.
Produced by Steve Bagley
Directed by Craig Joy
Driven by Christiaan Van Schardenburgh
This car would have cost £2,774 in 1965 with an extra £30 for the wire wheels. It had a top speed of 107 mph and could cruise 'at speeds up to 100mph without apparent effort'.
This particular model was the property of the former Alvis chairman J. J. Parkes, and was placed with the Museum by the Alvis Company in 1984.
The production of Alvis cars ceased in 1967.
Yes, come on Coventry Transport Museum, a TE21 has a completely different dashboard arrangement, not to mention various mechanical differences. But why is it listed as a 1965 model? If it is a TE with a TF dash then they should mention this.

It is a bit embarrassing for the Coventry Transport Museum that they have listed this as a TE21. It is a TF21 folks!
