I am not from Colorado, but was there for work and had a rental car. I had no idea about these EZ-Pass 'cashless' tolls.. When I was on the E-470 it was too late and I had no option to pay by that point. Months later I got billed from the rental car company $55 for two toll violations, $2.50 plus a $25.00 administration fee per toll. How do you recommend somebody in this position handle this? Maybe it should be on the rental car companies shoulders to alert customers about these tolls?

@johnhfrick Rental companies should explain to their customers how tolls will be paid if the customer uses one of the three tolling facilities in the Denver metro area. Please contact your rental agency if you are in question about tolls incurred while using a rental car.

Well, I believe Colorado's Toll Roads give all new meaning to HIGHWAY ROBBERY!!!!!!! Will not recommend visiting Colorado's for this outrageous cost of traveling on a road!!!! We was visiting thru the state on vacation pulling our fifth wheel and going less than 20 miles on this road cost us $27.00!!!! INSANE!!!! Will definetly bypass Colorado from now on, and will recommend for others to do the same!!!
