  • thank you so much! autoshop off base wanted $350 for the job, and you showed me how to do it for $100! saved me $250 bucks for a job that only took 1 hour, mainly because i had to figure out what i was doing and such, again, thank you so much!

  • @byrdSumPK Thank you for visiting our auto repair channel on YouTube.

  • Great, clear and helpful video!! Unfortunately, like MrRazorback, our window is stuck, but in the down position. We just can't seem to make the window budge and can't reach the bolts. So we've gotta cut the cables, huh?

  • @catgil3 in a case like this, it would probably be your best and easiest bet, as you're going to be replacing them anyway with the new regulator

  • Is it pretty much the same for a 2dr 95 cam?

  • @djfrighte Yes it should be pretty much the same.

  • @1aauto Just a note, my 92 has the courtesy lamp in the door and there is a well hidden screw behind it that must be removed before the door panel will come off. The lamp assembly comes out by pulling and prying around the edges.

  • Yea you helped a lot brother tnx

  • Great video, but my problem is that the window is stuck almost all the way down and the bolts from the regulator that attaches to the window are inaccessible. I cannot pull the window up because it will not budget. any suggestions?

  • After reversing the wires in the connector attached to the widow motor, all was right with the world. Up was up again and down, down. Thanks again.

  • Mike, I just wanted to say thanks for the video series. I'd been using a Haynes manual for the 96' Camry I'm working on, but your videos are FAR more helpful! After installing my new regulator and motor from AAuto, I was a bit surprised to find the new motor working in reverse. Should have tested it before I put the panel back on! I'm guessing either the motor wires have been crossed, or I plugged it in backwards. Just a heads up in-case I'm not the only one with this problem!

  • You freaking rock, I was about to pay 300+ to have this done by a mechanic. I'll just do it myself now.
