Fischer's team was himself...Spassky team was all of Russia's great grandmasters.
Althought I like Spassky because Spassky is humble towards Fischer.

that is not completely true. a lot of russians hated the russian gov and were pulling for fischer to take the russian power down.

The music sounds ridiculous on the surface, but in context, it's oddly fitting. It's all from the Beach Boys' Smile album - one that was never released because Brian Wilson was in a very similar mental state when creating it as Fischer was around the time of this match. Whomever chose this music has a wicked sense of humor.

It's true, the match was won partly through psychology. However, I'm not so sure that chesswise Spassky was indeed better. Their record was in Spassky's favor before the match, but you have to remember that Fischer defeated both Larsen and Taimanov 6-0. He also completely crushed Petrosian. I think Fischer was better than Spassky at this point.
